Washington Crossing the Delaware
During the Revolutionary War George Washington and his army made a daring journey across the Delaware river on December 25, 1776. They crossed the Delaware to defeat the Hessians who were residing in Trenton. Washington and his armies came out victorious in the end of the battle. This is considered to be the turning point in the Revolutionary War. |
